Open Evening - 2026 Production launch
We are delighted to be one of the first UK amateur companies to have been granted the rights to perform the official west end version of the Disney musical, Frozen. This version has only been made available to amateur companies for the first time in 2026 and we will be performing our production of this fabulous show from Tuesday 1st until Saturday 5th December 2026 in the Church Hill Theatre, Edinburgh.
If you are interested in joining us and becoming part of the show, either on stage or behind the scenes, please come along to our open evening which will be held on Thursday 30th April from 7:00pm in the Balerno High School drama studio.
During the open evening, the production will be discussed and the song and dance for the audition will be taught.
So, if you are keen to perform as part of the cast, do come along!
We look forward to seeing you!

At the AGM on 19th February, the committee was delighted to confer Helen Anderson with the honour of lifetime member of BTC Productions. Helen, along with her family, has been a member of BTC for many years. As well as performing as part of the cast in many productions, Helen has contributed to the company in many selfless ways, including baking for rehearsals to help raise funds, washing costumes between shows, sewing costumes and set backdrops, painting the set and in 2019, managing the ticket sales process. Helen has contributed above and beyond the expectations of a cast member and has done so without requiring praise or acknowledgement. The committee felt that such praise and acknowledgement was overdue, and after multiple nominations for Helen, was delighted to award her with lifetime honorary membership. Well done Helen!
